PRODUCT DETAILS

Submerged Combustion Vaporizer (SCV) with proprietary technology patents. SCV is a core equipment in LNG vaporization, featuring distinct characteristics that make it suitable for large-scale, high-efficiency vaporization needs.

The burner is directly submerged in water, and heat is efficiently transferred to the LNG tube bundle through the water bath, achieving a vaporization efficiency of over 98%, far surpassing that of ambient air vaporizers (ORVs). A single SCV unit can achieve a vaporization capacity of 50–300 tons/hour, making it ideal for large-scale vaporization scenarios such as LNG receiving terminals.

By utilizing combustion for heating, SCVs can operate stably in extremely cold (e.g., -30°C) or high-temperature environments, compensating for the reduced efficiency of ambient air vaporizers in winter. The vaporization rate can be quickly adjusted in response to downstream gas demand fluctuations by regulating the flow of fuel (e.g., BOG or natural gas) and air.

The combustion chamber is isolated from the water bath, preventing direct contact between combustion gas and LNG, ensuring high safety. Equipped with flame detection, gas leakage alarms, and emergency shutdown systems, SCVs comply with safety standards such as NFPA 59A.

With high efficiency, strong adaptability, and rapid response as core advantages, SCVs, despite their higher energy consumption, remain an irreplaceable vaporization solution for large-scale LNG projects, particularly in regions requiring stable gas supply or facing extreme climates.

Application Scenarios:

LNG receiving terminals (core application)

Natural gas peak-shaving stations

Areas without supporting pipeline networks

Direct supply for industrial users

Adaptation to special environments

Configuration Requirements:

Demand Scale: Suitable for large-scale projects with a daily vaporization capacity exceeding 100 tons.

Climate Conditions: Prioritized for environments where temperatures consistently fall below 5°C or humidity exceeds 80%.

Fuel Economics: Requires evaluation of whether the fuel costs of BOG or natural gas are controllable.
